SLCSMI is an independent, non-profit and non-political voluntary body set up under Act of Parliament under Act No.43 in 1981. The Chamber offers services to its members for effective development of business, especially in the small and medium industrial sector in Sri Lanka. Total rework on the back-end.
The redesigned web portal incorporates a responsive design, custom CMS components developed in-house to modernize and simplify back-end processes of portal member registration and management. The portal has enabled the SLCSMI to utilize their online presence effectively through member directory, membership application, event calendars, member forum and web analytics.
SLCSMI website includes Sri Lankas first ever complete SME directory with portfolio pages for each member. Members can log in to their member ares to access free tools including - Free Payroll systems , Free Websites , Loan Requests and many other facilities.
SLCSMI contains a complete operations management system to the chamber. It contains Membership Management, Invoice Management and CRM for the members and council. The Eco-system enhancement goals include future portal development with cloud based free IT software services distribution to the members.

Using twitter bootstrap the front end system is complete with Mobile Responsive view. Members access forums and engagements on their member area on the mobile with ease.
